Changing a family doctor in Croatia is free and can be done once a year. First find a new doctor, compare nearby options by rating and HZZO contract status, then call the new practice to arrange registration. No referral or approval from the previous doctor is required.

Why did we build mojausluga.hr?
We needed a new dentist in Zagreb. We searched for an hour and opened 20 tabs. Half the practices had no website, the other half had a website from 2008 with broken images. Google Maps said they were open until 16:00, but when we called, they did not work on Fridays. HZZO contract? Nowhere to be found. It can take half a day just to find out who accepts new patients.
Then you realize it is not just your problem. Every time someone needs a gynecologist in Split, a pediatrician in Rijeka, or a family doctor in Osijek, they go through the same thing: search, call, wait, give up, try someone else. In 2026, that makes no sense.
